Performance Request Information

Fees • Fees listed apply to performances within the state of Indiana. The "School Rate" applies to K-12 institutions only. Fees for programs outside of Indiana will vary and are negotiated on an individual basis.

Mileage • A travel cost will be charged for performance sites exceeding 20 miles from downtown Indianapolis. Mileage costs are calculated at 50¢ per mile round trip.

Accommodations • If the performance site is more than two hours one way, a per diem will be charged. For early morning performances, lodging and meals may be required for the performers.

Confirmations • A performance date will be considered binding with a signed Performance Agreement and a deposit of 50% of the balance due. Performances should be confirmed at least two weeks prior.

Cancellations • Late cancellations will be subject to full or partial payment. If cancellation is due to adverse weather, we will attempt to reschedule the program when possible.

Program Minimums • For the Touring Ensemble Program, Craft/Heritage Workshops, and Character Vignettes, a minimum of two performances is required if performance site exceeds a 50-mile radius of downtown Indianapolis.

Scheduling • To request a program, please submit three performance dates and times to Marriam Umar, Program Manager, Performances at K-12 institutions may also be arranged through Young Audiences of Indiana
